Our Biological Approach to Oral Health

Prioritizing personalized treatment plans, we ensure a healthy smile and overall well-being.

Biological Approach to Oral Health

Bio-Holistic Approach

This is the promise of the holistic, whole-body approach: a paradigm shift that views the body as an interconnected system where physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being are intertwined. Unlike conventional medicine, which often focuses solely on alleviating symptoms, holistic health practitioners delve deeper, seeking to understand the underlying imbalances that contribute to illness. By considering factors such as nutrition, lifestyle, stress levels, and environmental influences, this approach aims to restore balance and harmony to the body, paving the way for long-lasting health and wellness. So, if you’re tired of merely masking symptoms and ready to embark on a journey toward holistic healing, this whole-body approach offers a path to uncover the root cause of disease and reclaim your vitality from within. Overall, holistic dental hygiene therapy promotes holistic wellness, preventive dental care, personalized treatment, client education, and long-term health benefits that positively impact customers’ lives beyond their dental health.

Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy

The use of lasers is an effective tool for bacterial reduction, decontamination of diseased tissues, reducing dentin hypersensitivity, and promoting healing of cold sores, aphthous ulcers, and other oral lesions. It is a light-emitting therapy that is painless and reduces bacterial numbers from billions to hundreds.

While the Oracue under violet light exposure, carious lesions will fluoresce red, while healthy tissues show green through a filter, without the use of any radiation exposure.

Air polishing has been around for a while, but new and improved powders with Erythritol or Glycine might make a difference for you. With this procedure, your teeth are discolored, to view areas you are missing. It is a very good tool your hygienist can use to help recommend tools or tips. A bit messy, but no worries; we have hot towel service for you to freshen up afterwards.

Cancer Screening

Cancer Screening

With a visual oral cancer screening in checking all the tissues in your mouth, we also have an Oral ID cancer screening device. It uses fluorescence technology with blue light to aid in visualization of abnormalities. Abnormal tissue will fluoresce darker than healthy tissue. Early detection is one’s best defense!

Microscopic Analysis

Microscopic Analysis

Microscopic analysis is a simple tool that helps identify the types of bacteria present in your mouth. With this method, a sample of your plaque is taken and viewed under a microscope slide. Four types of bacteria can be detected through this type of analysis: Rods, Cocci, Amoebas, and Spirochetes. While Rods and Cocci are considered normal, the latter two are associated with bone loss. Early detection of these harmful bacteria enables us to create a care plan that eliminates them and prevents further damage to the supporting bone.

Air Purification & EMFs

Air Purification & EMFs

We use air purification units in all our operatories and at the front reception to ensure your safety. This helps not only with viruses, but with overall air quality. We try our best to decrease the amount of EMFs in our clinic. Our devices are hard-wired instead of using Bluetooth or wireless networks and devices. We also have our computers hard-wired to the internet.
